The installation ‘Central and Reversed Perspective’ was made for a specific gallery space.
It consists of 180 wooden square modules. The installation divides the gallery space into two compartments. The spectator can go through both spaces and can see the work from different viewpoints. From one side the work represents the concept of reverse perspective, meaning that the vanishing point is placed as if inside the viewer, making him or her the starting point of the work. The other side creates a delusion of central perspective. Thus, one and the same work encompasses two different approaches to the problem of perspective at the same time.
